Welcome to an exciting new
method of communicating at AMS....blogs!!!
What is a blog?
A mix of the word "web"
and the word "log."
Get it? Weblog.
Blog.
These blogs allow members of the AMS community - students, teachers and
parents - to participate in on-line discussions focused on
specific topics.
These are moderated
blogs. This
means that anyone can contribute comments, but all comments must be
approved by the author of the blog before the comment is displayed. The
purpose of having moderated blogs is to insure that comments are
appropriate - no vulgarities, personal attacks, etc.
The author will
not edit or change the comments in any way. If the author refuses any
comment, he or she will contact the blog administrator and will contact
the individual who submitted the comment.
