TARDINESS AND UNEXCUSED ABSENCES
Unexcused tardiness to or absences from school are not permitted.  Three unexcused tardiness slips will result in an after school detention.  Any student who is late for school more than fifteen minutes without a note from home shall receive an after school detention to make up the time missed.  Any unexcused absence from school shall result in an in-school suspension or after school detentions that comprise the number of hours of class time the student has missed.  The student's Team Leader may arrange this last option with the office secretary.  Attendance, tardiness, and absences will be monitored by the office personnel, teachers and administration.  Tardiness to class will be handled by the classroom teacher; if a student is consistently late to class, detention or an office referral will result.
